Why this Position is Important: The Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller is responsible for coordinating and assisting in the preparation of financial reports such as statements of activities, statements of financial position, statements of cash flows, and analyses of historical and projected income and expense, in addition to other special reports that may be needed. The Controller supervises the accounting, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial aid and student billing operations as well as the functions of audit, enrollment, budgeting and reporting.
What a typical week looks like: Role & Responsibilities
Recommend and administer all accounting policies and procedures, ensuring that strong internal controls and effective transaction processing routines are in place to protect the assets of the school and result in meaningful, timely and accurate financial reporting
