Academe of the Oaks seeks a full-time Art teacher for grades 9-12 for the 2025-2026 school year. We are a Waldorf high school located in Decatur, Georgia. We are looking for a dynamic art teacher who motivates and inspires students to do beautiful art. The ideal candidate for the position masters a variety of fine and practical techniques such as painting, drawing, sculpture, bookbinding, basketry and more. We require an advanced degree related to teaching Art. Candidates should have high school teaching experience and a genuine interest in deepening their knowledge and understanding of Waldorf high school education.
