Elementary and/or High School Spanish Teacher

The classroom teacher is responsible for organizing and implementing an appropriate instructional program in the primary, elementary, or secondary learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential and prepare them to thrive in college, career, and life.

Essential responsibilities include:

• long and short-range academic planning aligned to the school curriculum
• utilizing a variety of effective instructional practices to meet student learning needs
• using formative and summative assessment tools to monitor student learning progress and guide instructional planning
• establishing a safe and orderly learning environment that fosters an enthusiasm for learning and excellence

Members of the Springwood faculty should be comfortable speaking with students about the Christian faith leading in prayer and integrating a Christian perspective in their classroom presentations. This position serves as a member of the school faculty and reports the Director of Academics.
