Job Description
The Cottage School, a non-profit private school committed to providing education to students in grades 4-12 with mild to moderate learning differences is seeking applications for a High School English Teacher for grades 9-12 for the 2021/22 school year. Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Creative Writing, or related field required
- Teaching certificate preferred
- Previous teaching experience and/or graduate degree preferred
- Previous experience with students who have mild to moderate learning differences preferred
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Department Chair to develop and deliver curriculum
- Collaborates with teaching staff and counseling department to differentiate instruction
- Act as homeroom advisor for up to 10 students
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

- High School Principal
