Job Summary:

The Audio Visual & IT Technician plays a vital role in supporting the technical operations of Landmark Christian School. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and operating audio/visual equipment and providing IT support for faculty, staff, and students. Audio/Visual Support:

·       Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV equipment for school events, including chapel services, performances, meetings, and special presentations.

·       Maintain and manage inventory including microphones, speakers, projectors, and lighting systems.

·       Provide live sound engineering and post-production support (audio/video recording and editing).

·       Other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology.

 

IT Support:

·       Assist in the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of classroom and office technology (computers, printers, interactive displays, etc.).

·       Respond to helpdesk tickets in a timely and courteous manner.

·       Perform routine maintenance and updates on hardware/software.

·       Support account creation and password management for all staff.

·       Collaborate with the Department on larger infrastructure projects.

·       Provide training and support to staff and faculty on AV and IT systems.

·       Participate in the setup and technical support for new classrooms, labs, and performance spaces.

·       Other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology.

 

Qualifications:

·       2+ years of experience in AV production and/or IT support.

·       Bachelor’s or Associate degree in IT, Audio Engineering, or a related field preferred.

·       Strong understanding of sound systems, projection, lighting, and video editing tools.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Google Workspace environments.

·       Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

·       Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

·       Availability to support events during evenings or weekends, as needed.
