We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and innovative educator to join our team as a Lower School Teacher for gifted students in grades 2-4. In this role, you will lead a dynamic pull-out program, delivering advanced curriculum content in Math and Science. You will tailor instruction to meet the unique needs of gifted learners, ensuring they are both challenged and supported, while integrating Christian principles into your teaching practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement a rigorous, engaging, and differentiated curriculum in Math and Science for gifted learners.
Conduct regular assessments and adjust instruction to meet individual student needs.
Collaborate with classroom teachers and administrators to ensure continuity and coherence between pull-out and core curriculum.
Create a positive, inclusive, and faith-based classroom environment that reflects Christian values.
Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding student progress and program updates.
Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
Minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably with gifted or advanced learners.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement differentiated instructional strategies.
A deep commitment to integrating Christian faith into educational practice.
Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Passion for fostering academic excellence and spiritual growth in young students.
