Job Description

Palm Beach Day Academy is seeking a Fourth-Grade Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Applicants should enjoy working in a collaborative, student-centered environment and be skilled at providing differentiated instruction to promote students’ academic, social, and emotional growth. Ideal candidates show proficiency using technology in the classroom, are comfortable collaborating across disciplines and within the department, and excel at designing hands-on learning experiences that help students make meaningful connections between their studies and real-world contexts. Candidates should also possess strong classroom management skills to create and maintain a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment. Additional duties during the academic day range from advising students to actively participating in faculty meetings and professional development.

A Bachelor’s degree in elementary education and/or certification in elementary education is required, and a Master’s degree is preferred. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of teaching experience. Essential skills include strong organization and attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and parents.
