Job Summary |
The Preschool Lead Teacher is responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing a developmentally appropriate curriculum for children in the preschool age group. The Lead Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each child.
Key Responsibilities |
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for children in the 3k age group.
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each child.
Supervise and interact with children to promote their learning and development.
Conduct ongoing assessments of each child's progress and development and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate classroom activities and events.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
Attend staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school-related events as required.
Adhere to all school policies and procedures.
Key Qualifications |
Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Experience working with children in the preschool age group.
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and curriculum.
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with others.
Must be able to pass a background check and fingerprinting.

Work hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM.
