Marist School a co-educational Catholic school in Atlanta, GA seeks a full-time Dance Director for the 2025-2026 school year. The position includes teaching middle school dance classes (7th and 8th), high school dance classes, including expression and movement, aerobic fitness, and others as informed by student interest and program needs. The Dance Teacher would also contribute to our extracurricular arts programs as the lead choreographer for the high school spring musical, as the choreographer of the middle school musical (7th and 8th), as well as directing the dance company, and other contributions to the overall arts program.
Candidates seeking this position should have a range of movement knowledge and skills, including dance history, fundamentals of the major dance genres, and elements of cardiovascular fitness. Candidates should also be creative and capable of adapting class curricula according to student abilities and interest.

Marist School is an independent, Roman Catholic, college-preparatory day school in Atlanta, Georgia.
Marist enrolls approximately 1,100 boys and girls annually in grades 7th - 12th. It is owned and operated by the Society of Mary (more commonly known as the Marists), a religious congregation of priests and brothers founded in France in 1836. Marist School was founded in downtown Atlanta in 1901 and is the oldest Catholic school in the Atlanta area. The school moved to its current site on Ashford Dunwoody Road in 1962.
