Job Description

Episcopal Collegiate School seeks an enthusiastic and experienced Spanish teacher to inspire students in grades 6-12, fostering a love for language and culture in an independent school environment. Additional responsibilities will include serving as an Upper School student advisor, and may include sponsoring extra-curricular activities and/or coaching.

This full-time role in our World Languages Department begins in the 2025-26 school year.

Education and Experience

Candidates for this position should have at least two years of full-time Spanish-teaching experience and an undergraduate degree in Spanish language or literature from an accredited institution, with strong preference given to candidates with advanced degrees in a related field. Experience in and willingness to fulfill coaching responsibilities are a plus.

  • Experience teaching Spanish required; experience teaching AP Spanish or other AP Languages preferred. 

  • Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree preferred

  • Lead teaching experience required; two or more years of lead teaching experience preferred
