EDS is a PK3 through 8th grade school. In the Episcopal tradition, we welcome faculty, families and students from all faith traditions, knowing that we are enriched by that diversity. At the same time, we do not shy away from our Christian heritage. We believe that every person is uniquely created in the image of God, and it is our sacred responsibility to help guide each student to find their unique place in the world. That’s our starting place.
We also believe in the power of experiential learning. With the recent addition of our 38-acre campus at Flowing Wells, we continually strive to balance screen time with green time. Our Nature Preschool and Nature Kindergarten programs are further testimony to our commitment to foster that sense of wonder of the natural world. Service learning, leadership development, annual grade level overnight trips in several grades afford our students rich opportunities to extend the classroom learning.
