Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have experience leading and developing cross-curricular, inquiry-based learning with an emphasis on developing 21st century skills. Most qualified candidates will be accustomed to personalizing the academic experience and be able to show evidence of student growth. This position requires extensive collaboration and leadership with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Aligned with Grandview Preparatory School’s 5Cs—community, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and character—responsibilities include:

  • Develop, plan, and implement inquiry-based learning initiatives across the school.

  • Focus on enhancing 21st-century skills, utilizing technology to amplify learning, and providing personalized attention to support whole-child development in line with our school mission.

  • Use FACTS and Google Apps daily to manage grading, attendance, discipline, email, and other organizational tasks.

  • Engage students effectively through both live instruction and remote learning platforms.

  • Oversee various academic environments to ensure they reflect and support mission-specific learning outcomes.

  • Develop and refine inquiry-based curricula in collaboration with school leadership.

  • Navigate and integrate online learning platforms confidently.

  • Collaborate with administration to optimize the use of educational tools and resources for achieving learning outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree required

  • Teacher Certification or Statement of Eligibility
