Landmark Christian School is searching for a certified athletic trainer to manage its clinic and provide athletic training services to student athletes under the direction of the team physician and in accordance with state requirements at practices, games, and scrimmages for all sports teams.
  • Tape and brace athletes effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement rehabilitative plans for injured athletes.
  • Create injury prevention protocols.
  • Communicate with team doctor and coaches on the status of injured athletes.
  • Conduct injury assessments on the field and in the clinic.
  • Provide patient education and at home self-care programs.
  • Collect biometric data for injury surveillance and prevention.
  • Document injuries, individual rehab protocols, and treatment logs.
  • Provide mental health awareness and strategies for athletes. 
  • Monitor the use of modalities such as mechanical stimulation, heat, cold, light, air, water, electricity, sound, massage and the use of therapeutic exercises, reconditioning exercise and fitness programs.
  • Inventory and ordering of supplies as needed.
  • Other duties as required by Director of Athletic Operations.
Typical hours during seasons will be 12pm until end of practice or competition. During the summer, hours will be abbreviated and adjusted to mornings to cover football practices. Some travel required during football season.
Education and Experience:
Candidate must hold a college degree and be licensed in Georgia. At least one year of experience required.
Compensation and Benefits: This position will be a 12-month position with 2 weeks of vacation, GHSA dead week and many holidays. Other comprehensive benefits offered to full-time staff.
