CarterBaldwin is pleased to partner with St. David’s School to identify its next Head of School. Located in Raleigh, North Carolina, St. David’s School is an independent K-12 school that prepares young men and women for college and life by challenging them to excel in the vital areas of faith, virtue, and knowledge. St. David’s is a Christian school modeled after the Episcopal tradition of schools with core tenets of academic excellence, religious studies, worship, community service, and a community where the dignity of every person is respected.

St. David’s seeks a Head of School who will be charged with maintaining the school’s high academic standards, grounded in the Christian faith, with a commitment to growth and excellence while remaining consistent with the school’s mission. The next Head of School will provide leadership to an exceptionally talented team of administrators, faculty, and staff as well as recruit, hire, and retain administrators, faculty, and staff to meet the needs of a growing and dynamic school. The school’s current enrollment is the second highest in school history, and the next Head will have the strategic opportunity to continue the forward momentum of Upper School enrollment of retention from 8th-9th grades. 

Although applications will be accepted until the time that the new Head of School is appointed, candidates should submit application materials consisting of a resume, statement of faith, and letter of interest addressed to the St. David’s Head of School Search Committee by December 22, 2023, for most favorable consideration.
