Brookwood School is an independent, coeducational, college-preparatory day school in Thomasville, Georgia, which offers a superior educational opportunity to qualified students. We have an opening for a talented and innovative faculty member to teach high school science courses. This position will begin for the 2023-24 academic year.
Position Responsibilities:
Teach Upper School Science courses, including Biology, AP Biology, Anatomy & Physiology
Ability to additional teach STEM-based science courses
Position may include student life responsibilities, such as club sponsorship
Attributes Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Science Education
Full time teaching experience is preferred
Student-centered approach
Possessing a collaborative spirit and a growth mindset
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Must be proficient in working with students 9th-12th grade
Ability to successfully interface with students, colleagues, parents, and administrators
Ability to multitask effectively
