PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Advancement Services Manager ensures the integrity of Harpeth Hall’s donor database and is responsible for implementing and overseeing best database practices within the Advancement Office. This professional collaborates with Advancement leadership to identify, launch, and support strategies for successful fundraising campaigns. He/she provides custom reports for the Annual Fund and the Capital Campaign when underway, supports fundraising volunteers, and plans and hosts successful Annual Fund meetings and special cultivation and stewardship events.
REPORTS TO: Director of Advancement. Works closely with the Director of Annual Giving.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management and Integration of Fundraising and Communications Platforms: Manages GiveCampus, Monday.com, Omatic, and Emma to facilitate fundraising campaigns and other advancement communications needs.
Goal Setting: Provides database analyses using assigned attributes essential to setting financial and participation goals and informing solicitation strategy, both overall and divisional.
Volunteer Identification and Management: Produces reports to facilitate the identification and recruitment of volunteers for all fundraising roles. Works in conjunction with the Director of Annual Giving and the Director of Advancement to lead and support all fundraising volunteers.
Solicitation Strategy and Implementation: Works with the Director of Annual Giving, the Director of Advancement, and Communications department to conceptualize creative ideas for fundraising campaigns, including the annual Day of Giving. Manages the direct mail and electronic solicitation and pledge reminder processes. Tracks the prospect cultivation and solicitation process and provides relevant reports.
Meeting and Event Management Support: Plans and executes meetings/events with the Director of Annual Giving for fundraising volunteers and donors.
Special Analyses and Reports: Designs, produces, and manages queries, exports, and reports to enable:
REQUIREMENTS: College degree plus two to three years work experience in a development office. Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge or similar database experience required, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office. Advanced Excel usage including creating formulas is essential. Full-time, exempt position with some evenings, weekends, or early mornings required.
