Job Description
Lake Highland's Middle School seeks a US History teacher to instruct students according to the prescribed LHPS curriculum. The teacher will perform related teaching tasks and functions such as planning, research, curriculum alignment, assessment and record-keeping in an efficient and effective manner. As needed, the teacher will also willingly participate in the school community and student co-curricular activities.
This is a full-time, fully-benefited, 10-month position.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Must have a college major or be certified in the area of study for which they are responsible the major portion of the day.
- Previous teaching experience of a minimum of 3 years in the middle school setting is preferred.
