Job Description


The Weber School is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our Deans’ office. The ideal candidate can thrive in a setting that requires attention to detail, the capacity to triage competing priorities, and a steadfast commitment to represent The Weber School in a respectful, culturally competent, and professional manner. The Administrative Assistant will serve as a liaison to students, staff, parents, and the community. 


  1. Provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all students, teachers, parents, and guests.

  2. Provides administrative support to the Deans’ office and is a primary contact for students, teachers, and parents. 

  3. Arranges meeting and conference logistics; researches and compiles information for reports and presentations and manages office preparation.

  4. Compiles data from a variety of sources to develop spreadsheets and run specialty reports. (Upon training, will be  proficient with the Learning Management System utilized by the school.)

  5. Maintains the calendar for the Deans’ office and ensures appropriate preparation for daily activities; may coordinate domestic or foreign travel arrangements.

  6. Represents the Deans’ office in internal and external communications. 

  7. Receives incoming calls, guests, and may review incoming correspondences to Deans’ and forward appropriately.

  8.  Acts as a spokesperson for the Deans’ office when directed or in consultation with the Deans.

  9. Works with the Deans’ office to address specific operational issues and develops recommendations and action plans towards their resolution.

  10. Assists in the administration and interpretation of policies and procedures for the school.

  11. Initiates & receives emails/paperwork for specific student or staff activities and may assist with follow-up regarding student issues or concerns.

  12. Assists in maintaining accurate records and efficient filing systems. 

  13. Maintains an unwavering commitment to the highest standards of confidentiality.

  14. Performs related responsibilities as required.


Bachelor’s degree preferred (business administration, organizational management, or other education-related field/proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft, Canva/Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of college degree
