Job Description
Benedictine Military School (BC) seeks a full-time, experienced, and certified professional school counselor for the 2023-2024 academic year. We are a Catholic, all-male, day school with strong traditions, deep roots in Savannah, and a robust JROTC program. Candidates will have completed an accredited counseling program with a minimum of a master’s degree in school counseling (or similar). Candidates will have or be eligible to receive certification in school counseling in the state of Georgia. The ability to collaborate with colleagues to create a positive, challenging, and productive school environment that reflects our mission is essential. BC seeks a creative problem-solver who has experience in providing individual and small-group counseling to meet the emotional, academic, and social needs of a diverse group of teenage boys.  School counselor will also serve as academic advisor for 9th and 10th grade students, AP Coordinator, and will work within our college prep curriculum to guide students as they set and reach goals. Ideal candidates will also possess a willingness to lead or help with one or more of the many co-curricular activities within our school program.
