Homeroom/Elementary Teacher


St. Paul Christian Academy in Nashville seeks an innovative and collaborative educator to join the faculty.  Homeroom Teachers at St Paul Christian Academy invest in students to further the St. Paul pillars of Academic Excellence, Passion for Christ and Leadership Development. St. Paul prides itself in forming a warm, nurturing environment with high-caliber academic excellence.  St. Paul sends students to high-performing next-level schools. A bachelor's degree is required, and teaching experience in elementary or middle school is preferred. Additional duties include but may not be limited to:


  1. Plan, modify, and execute daily lessons.

  2. Monitor students' daily progress to support individualized instructional goals and adapt as needed to reach multiple learning styles and abilities effectively. 

  3. Effectively manage the classroom and build relationships with students with an emphasis on understanding the whole child.

  4. Collaborate with the entire teaching team on all student-related matters.

  5. Collaborate with the Center for Student Success to ensure the appropriate challenge and support are provided to each student. 

  6. Manage daily communication with parents regarding the emotional and academic growth of their children.

  7. Lead three parent conferences per year to discuss the progress and growth of each student.

  8. Complete monthly curriculum mapping to place all lesson plans online.

  9. Collaborate with the Division Heads on an annual individualized professional growth plan

  10. Attend weekly faculty meetings.
