CCES is an independent day school serving approximately 1,200 students in grades Primer (K5)-12 in Greenville, South Carolina.
A CCES education prepares students to think deeply, act responsibly, live vigorously, believe faithfully, lead resolutely, and create imaginatively.
Students leave Christ Church Episcopal School with a strong respect for and understanding of our mission values.
Character: A CCES student is a person of character. They live out our mission and honor pledge in word and deed and work diligently to choose the harder right over the easier wrong.
Community: A CCES student is part of a community that engages others with mutual respect, embraces and honors differences, and builds a sense of belonging. As an Episcopal School our baptismal covenant calls upon every community member “to strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being.”
Excellence: A CCES student strives for excellence in all they do. On the field, on the stage, in the classroom, and everywhere in between is an opportunity to set the bar high and continuously grow.
Service: A CCES student understands their role in changing the world around them. Through a variety of experiences, they develop a deep responsibility for caring for themselves, caring for others, and caring for the environment.
