Fayette Academy

Fayette Academy was founded in 1965 by a group of citizens who desired to establish an independent, Christian, college-preparatory school that would provide a balance of academic rigor, artistic and athletic achievement, and spiritual growth in a family and communal atmosphere. Enrollment began with 100 students and has grown over the next fifty years to reach approximately 575 students for the 2022-2023 school year. Located on the edge of the Memphis Metropolitan Area, Fayette Academy is the oldest and most established private/independent school in Fayette County, Tennessee.  The school is poised to grow both in excellence and in enrollment as the area prepares for the opening of Blue Oval City, Ford Motor Company’s largest battery and vehicle manufacturing campus in the world, less than fifteen miles away. Fayette Academy’s mission, “To inspire minds for learning and hearts for Christ”, continues to guide the school as it prepares for the next stages of its growth and development.
