Palm Beach Day Academy (PBDA) is seeking a full time Staff Accountant and Purchasing Manager immediately for the 2022-2023 school year. This self-starter will be a critical member of the Business office, will have a dynamic personality, and will enthusiastically carry out a range of accounting, purchasing and Human Resource tasks. Duties and Responsibilities Receive, verify and enter invoices/payment requests in accounts payable system. Administer School-wide vendor accounts, complete vendor credit applications and assist with procurement as needed. Control expenses by identifying and resolving billing errors, monitoring for discount opportunities, obtaining refunds, applying credits and ensuring tax exemption. Obtain proper payment approvals and general ledger account codes. Present complete and orderly payable documentation for review/approval by the Controller on a timely schedule.
