The King's Academy

Established in 1880, The King's Academy (TKA), formerly Harrison-Chilhowee Baptist Academy, is a private Christian day and boarding school located in Seymour, Tennessee. It serves students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, welcoming local, national, and international students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.

TITLE: President/Head of School REPORTS TO: Board of Trustees NATURE OF POSITION:   The President/Head of School is the Chief Executive Officer of the Academy. The position responsibilities are for daily operations as well as visionary leadership for future growth and development. Liaison with various publics is considered integral to this role, including relations with the Tennessee Baptist Convention, Board of Trustees, print and news media, academy personnel, parents, alumni and donors. The President/Head of School is authorized by the Board of Trustees to enter into contractual relationships with banks, vendors, employees, etc., on behalf of the Academy. The President/Head of School serves at the pleasure and will of the Board of Trustees.
