The Montessori School of Durham is an AMS-accredited, non-profit school in beautiful Durham, North Carolina. Established in 1976, MSD seeks an experienced Montessori   Early Childhood Teacher   to establish a new classroom for the 2025-26 school year. This full-time academic year position starts August 11, 2025. Hours are Monday – Friday, 7:50 - 3:30 p.m. Candidates must have a   Montessori Early Childhood credential   (AMS or AMI) from a MACTE-accredited training program and three years experience as a Montessori Lead Teacher in an Early Childhood classroom. A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood education or a related field is preferred, but not required. MSD seeks a part-time Music teacher to nurture a love of music and a lifelong appreciation for the arts in our students grades Kindergarten through 6th. Guided by Montessori principles, the music teacher will teach the grammar of music and guide the students to develop their abilities for listening, singing, playing instruments, and performing.
